Maximizer Lite is a powerful PIM and contact manager, and the program takes a little effort to master, but you'll be amply repaid. This amazing free program lets you track all your interactions with clients in a list format. Not only can you can keep complete client details, including name, company, address, phone/fax numbers and e-mail addresses, but the program's real power lies in its user-defined fields. These fields are categories which you can use to classify your clients. You can create four different types of fields: table, with drop-down lists; alphanumeric, so you can insert client codes; date; and numeric. When you've entered a list of contacts, you can create mail merge documents with your word processor. You can also access the Web and send e-mail from within the program, using your default clients, and the program features a Hot List, which shows all your tasks and reminders; a notes feature, in which you can keep dated notes for your clients; a phone log; the appointments' tracker; and an application launcher.
